Buble on Etalk. My friend Debi & I had the opportunity to see a taping of Michael Buble on Etalk last night. As we had to wait in line for 2½ hours. He was worth the wait! Here are some pictures I took during the breaks. Michael is so funny!
Also check out my website for all the pictures and the ones I took at his concert in Hamilton 2008.

How I got started

I guess you can say my wedding career started when I was four. I was a Flower girl for my Aunt & Uncle. Then I was a Bridesmaid 9 times and a Maid of Honour (MOH) once. Then finally a Bride in 2002. Emcee 3 times. I always loved weddings; I knew one day I would be doing this as a career. I really don’t call it a job, its fun. I’ve met the nicest couples. I’ve become good friends with a lot of them. Each wedding I’m involved with has special meaning. I find all weddings are different, no two are a like. Weddings now are designed with the couple’s personality in mind. I think that is the way it should be. When I think back to my first time being a Bridesmaid to weddings now a lot has changed. Even in the last 5 years weddings have become amazing. Hiring a Wedding Planner has become part of the wedding, just alike the photographer, DJ and Florist etc.. Every few weeks I’m going to try and write about weddings and give some advice.

My friend Catherine will be preforming in a play at the Sanderson Centre in November. I was asked to take the promo picture for the ad for them. I did so last night. I’ve seen Catherine act many times and she is great! I’m looking forward to seeing the play. It’s going to a really funny show! So if your available November 13, 14, 21 or 22 I recommend to treat yourself and a friend and go and see this play.

Kaitlyn & Kevin’s Wedding
Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008 | Kaitlyn & Kevin's Wedding | No Comments
Last Saturday the weather network said we were going to have thunder showers from 11-5.This is something I didn’t want to see happen for Kaitlyn & Kevin. They were getting at married at 12:30. After church we went to Glenhyrst Gardens to take pictures. I few rain drops were there for about 5 minutes and then all was good to go. I had a fun day shooting the wedding party. They had lots of ideas and were having fun. This is what I try to do for all my couples to have fun. It was about 3:30 and they decide they were hungry, nobody really eat lunch from what they told me. So they decide to stop by the McDonald’s on King George Road. This was the first time I shot a wedding party at a fast food place. The staff were great, but some of the customers didn’t know what to think. The group decided that this was going to be a tradition when the rest of them get married in the future they will stop by McDonald first. We took one last wedding party picture outside the sign. Just about 5 minutes later the rain started, so everything turned out great. Congratulations Kaitlyn & Kevin. Here are some pictures of the day.
James Hillier Graduation

Last week I had the honour of creating a DVD slideshow for the Graduation ceremony for Grade 8 students at James Hillier school. I few weeks prior I went to the school and did a photo session of the students. Had a great time taking pictures of the students. They were great and they had lots of ideas. Each student now has a copy of the slideshow and the ceremony. I wish them all the best in High school. Ah grade 8 graduation - I can barely remember that time for me, I wish I had someone who took pictures of it for me. :( You can check out the pictures if you want, here:
